How our clay shooting sessions are run
On your approach to the shooting ground you will see a sign on the edge of the road and a gate that is set back. We would ask that you open the gate and kindly close it behind you then, follow the signs to Lee Leisure and clay shoot. Once at the ground you will be greeted by one of our instructors, who will introduce everyone to you.
Your group will then be divided into small teams of no more than 6 people per shooting instructor, each group will enjoy a master eye and gun fitting session, this includes a safety briefing and an explanation on the technique required to hit the first clay pigeon you will be shooting at. The sessions normally run for a 2 hour period and each person can expect to shoot 50 targets each with a minimum of 3 different targets.
We normally operate 3 time slots which can be booked 7 days a week, they are 11am to 1pm, 1pm to 3pm, and 3pm to 5pm, additional times can be arranged to suit and evening shooting sessions and corporate events in the summer months
If you wish to have a competition throughout the session, the last six shots on each target are scored and added together at the end. If the scores are tied, which they very often are, we may organise a shoot off to find an overall winner.
We frequently have clients who have tried clay pigeon shooting before at other shooting venues in and around London and have not achieved. If someone in your group has experienced this before please let us know. We are so passionate about what we do we will give them a full refund if we cannot get them to hit targets comfortably.
Sessions can now be booked at Luton Hoo Hotel Golf & Spa, Bedfordshire.
